Gliding Flight in Lincolnshire

Gliding is a majestic way for people to be airborne. It's a breathtaking way to fly, soaring on the same rising currents of air that the birds use, with no roaring engine to spoil the peace. Begin the experience with a full flight briefing, before stepping aboard a dual-controlled glider with an experienced pilot. A light aircraft tows the glider into the air and once at the appropriate altitude (approximately 2,000 ft) the rope is released, allowing the glider to gently move in the thermal curr
